Ravana waterfalls of Sri Lanka

Ravana waterfalls is one of very beautiful of Sri Lanka and which is situated at Badulla district closed to Near Ella place. This waterfall is situated very closed to the Bandarawela-Wallawawaya road. Anyone travel along this way can be seen nice waterfall called Ravana falls. Ravana falls is not a single one. Number of Ravana falls available in closed area. Ravana cave temple, Dova Teple and Ravana fallls are related with legend story.

Ravana means ancient story of India and SriLanka. We can identify that this fall also has long history. Without special reason the name isn't kept. There fore we can't think that Ravana falls hasn't long history.
Middle of  the Ravana fall there is a tunnel. People cant though it but in King Walagamba's time they might through it. Some people tried to through it although they couldn't get permission. Near Ravana falls there is a Temple called Dova Temple. This temple also has same tunnel. Some says that those tunnels are not two those are only one. Some says that there are tunnel system to protect king and others. Various places of Badulla district has these type of tunnels. Dova Temple was made by King Walagamba in 13th Century.

Hakgala Botanical Garden of Sri Lanka

Hakgala is very cool climate area of Sri Lanka. Hakala garden is highest botanical garden of Sri Lanka and situated between Nuwaraeliya and Welimada towns. Hakgala area consist lower Celsius value of temperature in every time of the year. There are about 10km from Nuwaraeliya and about 15km from Welimada. Hakgala Botanical garden is most famous Botanical garden of Sri Lanka.

Hakgala high forest and Hakgala Mountain is at above area of Hakgala botanical garden. In December to February month’s high amount of mist covered all areas of Hakgala Mountain and also Hakgala Park. Temperature of is changed between 2 to 10 Celsius values. Several experiments and research about local flora are handled in Haggala Garden.

Several types of Roses and other beautiful flowers can be seen in Hakgala Park. In April month more than thousands of visitors arrived into Hakgala. Several reservations, Rest Houses and vehicle parks available at closed to the Park.

Demodara Ancient Bridge

                                                                   

Demodara is most popular and interesting railway station of Sri Lanka. Demodra is at upcountry region and closed to Badulla town. Demodara mets when travel to Badulla from Bandarawela and about 10Km to Badulla and about 12Km to Bandarawela from Demodara.

Closed tourist interesting region for Demodara is Ella town. Specialties of Demodara are Demodara 9 arc Bridge, Demodara Tunnel, Demodara Railway Station, Demodara tea Estates and so on. Most popular things in Demodara are Demodara 9 Arc Bridge and Railway Station.

One and only railway station trains travels same horizontal level in place is Demodara Railway station. It’s amazing point of Sri Lanka. Inventor of this technology is person who looks after cattle. There is a railway tunnel downside of the Demodara Railway station. The train comes through the tunnel and after travel about 400m gap which round way then comes to Station. What a wonderful?

In the time after 1920AD British government with Sri Lankan workers are created this rail way to Badulla station. There was a problem for develop the railway way after that Demodara station because 50m of gap is at Demodara.. All engineers had thought to stop building the railway towards. But the boy said him a technology. The boy showed the specific plan with his rope. What a amazing. Engineers accepted to it. In today Demodara is most beautiful railway station of Sri lanka.

Another wonderful item of Demodara is 9arch Railway Bridge. Sri Bridge is also has a wonderful story. It is also planed by Sri Lankan Engineer who works in railway project. He has designed plan to build the bridge with 9 arcs. After building the bridge other engineers had rejected the plan. How ever today also the bridge is alive. The bridge is at between Demodara and Ella stations. Demodara is third rail way station from Badulla.

Climate of Demodara is cool and less than 20km from Bandarawela town. Dunhinda and Ravana waterfalls are closed to Demodara. There was a Sinhala film called ‘Demodara Palama (1992)’ means bridge of Demodara also related with Demodara area. Earlier Sri Lankans identified this location with the Film.

Nuwareliya City of Sri Lanka

Nuwaraeliya is a one of District of Central province and Nuwaraeliya is most coolest and highest city of Sri Lanka. Nuwaraeliya is located at 6°58?0?N 80°46?0?E coordinates and middle point of up country Sri Lanka. There fore Nuwaraeliya is very famous for tourist and visitors of Sri Lanka and all other countries. Piduruthalagala is a highest mountain of Sri Lanka and which is located at Nuwaraeliya. In addition to that Thotupola, kirigalpottha, Piduruthalagala and Samanala mountains are at Nuwaraeliya. There are large number of waterfalls closed to Nuwaraeliya town. Devon, St. Clair, Lovers leap, Kirindioya falls, Ramboda falls, Garandi Falls, Abardeen Falls and several waterfalls related to Nuwaraeliya. Nuwaraeliya is at between Welimada and Gampola. There are 65Km from Peradeniya and 35Km from Thalawakele. Easy to access Welimada, Badulla, Ragala, Walapane, Nanuoya, Thalawakele, Ramboda, Kothmale, Welimada. Ambewela and such areas.  Shanthipura is Highest village of Sri Lanka closed to Nuwaraeliya.

One of the very beautiful places of Nuwaraeliya is Gregory Lake. This lake is at middle of the town. Since 1900 Nuwaraeliya is very famous to tour. Hakgala Botanical garden, Ambewela Farms, Horton Plains, Bakers falls, Bomburu Falls, Nanuoya are related beautiful places of Nuwaraeliya.

Nuwaraeliya is very famous with climate. Some identifies as little England. Lowest temperature of  Sri Lanka is recorded every day at Nuwaraeliya. Nuwraeliya has coolest climate. some days temperature of Nuwaraeliya becomes to 1 - 2 degrees of Celsius. Mini snow falls also available in February. Everytime mist covered the area of nuwaraeliya.

Worlds End In Srilanka

Worlds End means the place which has highest gap in Sri Lanka. This place is situated at the border of Nuwaraeliya, Badulla and Rathnapura districts and also   Horton plains which is highest plain in Sri Lanka. There has two worlds ends one of the small worlds end and other one is big worlds end. The big worlds end is higher than other gaps. You can Travel to this place via Nuwaraeliya,  Pattipola, Ambewela road  or via Boralanda,   Ohiya road.

There are a lot of beautiful places and a lot of beautiful scenarios can be seen in down side of Words End at clear time. In the  morning time the down side is very clear and viewed long distance and beautiful sceneries. After few hours the fully down side attack with mist. What a wonderful thing is happen now. If you see this place I trust you mutter above words. There after this place become the real Worlds End because there is nothing to see down side. You may think there is nothing world along here.
                        
                 

To travel to worlds end is very easy. First you want to come Horton plains via vehicle or by foot. If you get reside near Alawathugoda, Ohiya, Pattipola or near place you can travel by foot. From Horton plains you should go on foot to Worlds End. This way is 5km. When you come the way of Worlds End you met two ways. One of way go to Bakers falls and Plain way is go to worlds end.

When you come to Worlds End road first you meet little worlds end. Little worlds end is same to the main worlds end. But this gap is not higher than main one.

This is our advice. When you visit this place don't dirt this. You must protect this place for our future generation. Lot of deer die by eating polythene. This polythene is brought by you. Don't bring it next time.
